ABOUT
Welcome! We are Clean Air De Anza, a small group made of current students and alumni working to raise awareness and advocate for a smoke-free campus at De Anza College. All Universities of California (UC) and California State Colleges (CSU) have a 100% smoke and tobacco free campus. We believe that students in community college should have the same rights to breathe clean air.

OUR FOUNDATION
These are the organizations that support and make our group possible!
Bay Area Community Resources (BACR)

BACR is a nonprofit organization in the Bay Area that supports individual and community development through a variety of programs and services.
Asian Pacific Island Coalition for Health Against Tobacco (API-CHAT)
API-CHAT is a project under BACR. The tobacco industry targets Asian and Pacific Isandler communities through deceptive marketing, higher retailer density, lower prices in communities of color, and creation of culturally familiar flavors in tobacco vaping products.
OUR VISION
We want to enforce a 100% no smoking policy at De Anza in order to protect the health of students, staff, and the affected community. We want guaranteed clean air for everyone! We want to emphasize that we promote smokers to quit, but with help. If UC and CSU students have this right, why not California Community Colleges too?
Our goal is not to marginalize the smoking population, but rather educate and guide folks who do want to quit.
